SEA LION SPLASH SHOW back by popular demand at the Volusia County Fair and Youth Show Nov. 7-17. It’s Your Fair, A Family Affair

The only traveling, self-contained  sea-lion show in the United States. See close up how sea lions react in a natural setting. Learn how they act in the wild and how we can preserve them.

“Hey Jessica, Kevin, Kim, Spark, Zoey, and  Alicia!!

Hey! Just wanted to let you know  how much I enjoy your show together!! I actually go to the Big E in  Massachusetts every year and wait in the front row for about an hour for the  show to start!! I love the sea lions and have my picture taken with them every  year.

You guys are a great team and two thumbs up!! (way  up)”
Fanatic Fan,
Danielle

The natural exhibit is presented in a tropical setting with rocks, palm trees, waterfalls, foliage and two pools. One pool where the sea lions can be observed under water and one pool outside with a top view. The exhibit is designed so the animals are seen from all sides during the show and during breaks. Marco and Philip Peters are recognized by millions of people for their always unique and exciting shows and exhibits. Let us invite you to their latest unique creation the Sea Lion Splash Show.

Showtime! Surfer Joe, trainer and host of the show, takes you through a thirty-minute spell binding show where he brings out the natural comedic behavior of these animals. These behaviors include in and out of water actions, balancing, catching and retrieving objects, hand stands, dancing, singing and interaction with the audience. The show is geared around educating the audience on the habits and nature of the sea lions with a lot of comedy thrown in. Sea lions are natural performers and will ad lib without prompting, stealing the show with their cute mischief. The finale of the show provides the audience a magical moment with a close sea-lion encounter. Whether Showtime or not, sea lions will continuously provide entertainment by being their natural selves.

Marvin Gardner-Blacksmith Demonstrator Nov. 7 -17 At the Volusia County Fair, DeLand, Fl

Marvin Gardner has been a Blacksmith for over 35 years, first as a hobby and later as a profession. Over the years he has enjoyed creating many blacksmith art pieces including an Eagle with an 18′ wing span as a memorial for 9/11 victims and a Memorial Cross with over 300 different leaves and flowers sculpted into it.  Through the years  he had the opportunity to create many custom  utilitarian pieces including stair railings, table bases, chandeliers etc. Recently, his wife and he have decided to redirect their focus to something they both really enjoy… Blacksmith Demonstrating.  Marvin had been the Blacksmith in the Primitive Skills Section of the  Ossahatchee Indian Pow Wow for 9 years. This experience had been the highlight of  his year and has caused his wife and he to change their focus from production to demonstration. What they enjoy most is the interaction with the audience and the young people who become their apprentices for about 10 minutes. During the demonstration, Marvin’s apprentice and he transform a tiny piece of quarter inch rod into a hand wrought miniature horseshoe. This horseshoe can be purchased as a key chain or necklace for.  Initials and or names can also be stamped into the handmade horseshoe.   The horseshoe is only a small cost but the look on their faces as they walk away with a “one of a kind” souvenir that they helped create is PRICELESS!

Marvin and Beverly are also enlarging their territory to include Schools and Churches to provide a “Field Trip Experience” for them without the cost and time involved with group travel since they take the Mobile Blacksmith Shop to them.

Jeff & Jill Eaton

Jeff & Jill Eaton

Jef Eaton was first introduced to magic at age six, when he got a magic kit for Christmas. He dabbled with magic as a child, putting on shows for the neighbor kids. Later he got interested in puppets and started performing with his cousin doing shows for birthday parties, scout groups, and banquets. Their business prospered until Jef was fourteen, when he gave it up to play rock and roll in a local band. Jef continued his musical career touring the United States with bands before serving his country in Vietnam. Upon his return to the states, he again played music until 1975 when “THE MAGICIAN” series with Bill Bixby came on TV and rekindled an old flame. Kandu the Magician magically appeared that same year, and has been entertaining family audiences ever since.

The KANDU MAGIC SHOW has traveled nationwide entertaining family audiences performing at conventions, fairs, festivals, with symphony orchestras, and even at a zoo!

Kandu and Jill The Music Lady create a show like no other. Incorporating live music, sound effects, sight gags, slapstick comedy and audience participation, this show captivates both the young and the young at heart.

Just to give fairgoers that extra entertainment, Kandu has brought along his Wild & Wacky Game Show. This fun packed show picks all contestants from the audience and involves games with hula hoops, balloons, balls, buckets, butterfly nets and even plungers!

You have to see this one to believe it!
